Avoid Hot Showers

Regular hot shower is not recommended by dermatologists as removes a lot of natural oil from the skin and can cause inflammatory skin reactions such as rashes. Excessive sweating after a hot shower also can leave the skin prone to acne breakouts. A hot shower after prolonged exposure to sun leaves the skin dry and causes more damage. Thus, it is necessary to keep the temperature low for glowing healthy skin.

Exfoliate Regularly

Exfoliation not only helps remove dead skin cells but also scrub away excess oil and clogged pores that can cause skin problems such as acne and dark spots. Exfoliating twice or thrice a week is recommended to maintain a healthy radiant skin. However, proper care is necessary to avoid using harsh scrubs and strong chemical exfoliants that can irritate or scar skin.

Get Adequate Sleep

A good 7 to 8-hour sleep is essential for maintaining good skin. However, isn’t just about the duration of sleep but also depends on the type of pillowcase and bed sheets used. A clean and soft pillowcase such as those made of silk prevents skin from creasing and wrinkling. It also helps avoid hair from getting tangled and breaking. Thus, for good skin & hair, good sleep and good sleeping material are essential.

Stay Hydrated

Staying hydrated is essential for both body and skin. It is recommended to take at least 8 glasses of water a day to maintain good skin. Lack of hydration can cause the skin to lose radiance and start sagging. Skin can be hydrated from outside by regular face cleansing, moisturizing and revitalizing with water and hydrating formulas.
